I'm over at Sweet'N'Sexy Divas today talking about how I've been handling my post Frostbite Falls burnout, and how I've been able to get out of my writing rut. Stop by to see the lesson I have learned before, but always bares repeating.
I'm over at Sweet'n'Sexy Diva's today talking about all the great stories that can be created around the new tech we have now. Stop by and get a glimpse at the stories we could tell, and get a little peak into my of kilter sense of humor.
I'm over at sweet'n'sexy divas today talking about a subject I am really not good at, asking for help, and how it has changed my writing life over the last six months. There's also a big shout out to the RWA conference of this year and last year, which I went to and absolutely loved.
I hope you'll stop by and leave me a little note on how asking for help has changed your life. I know for me its brought a lot of hope back to my life, which I really needed in the last few years.
I'm over at Sweet'n'Sexy Divas today talking about getting back into the swing of things after the overwhelming November and December I had. And talking about how I plan to keep it going.
Golden Forever is now available for download. This story holds a different place in my heart than the others in the series because it was the first story that I wrote for this series. I'm sure all these posts give readers an idea of how cluttered my mind is. That this story isn't the first one that I thought of yet it was somehow the first one I wrote shows just how all over the place I can be. I wish I could explain it, but I can't. And believe me I've tried. Even more ironic, this was the last book to receive a title. I know, its nuts. But what can you do.
In a lot of ways Riley was the easiest character to identify with in the series. She was the only one that found the ball to be a drag, that didn't want to dress up in fancy clothes or wear heels, which I can certainly identify with. Especially around the holidays, when I first starting writing the books, the time of year when you have to do a lot you might not want to, for the holiday season or the family.
But probably the reason why this book was the first one written had nothing to do with Riley at all, but it was because of her guys. Of all the guys in the series, their motivation and devotion to Riley was easiest to understand. They loved Riley before the first word was written on the first page. They'd always loved Riley. She was the love of their lives since they were seven years old, they just didn't know it yet. Their friendship, their devotion to each other is so crystal clear I couldn't turn away from it. No matter which of the other ladies were talking to me. Those guys forced me to stay focused on them, to keep telling their story, demanding I give Riley the happily ever after she deserved. Which only made me love them more.
I've been planning this giveaway for a while but unfortunately life got in the way. But now with my edits and deadlines behind me and Christmas in front of me, now seems like the perfect time to announce this contest.
Today starts out the beginning of my 'Like Me' contest. All you have to do to be eligible is to like my facebook page. Simple as that.
The contest will run from now until I receive 250 likes on my face book page. Whether that takes three days or three months. Once my page hits 250 likes, I'll choose one liker at random to receive the prize. I will then contact the winner for shipping instructions. No personal information needs to be provide before that time.
And what do you win--five paperback books. These books house a total of 13 stories, 8 from me and a few extras for fun. More than enough reading to keep you happy for a few weeks (at least I hope).
If you've already liked my page there's nothing else you need to do. You're already in the running to win. But if you want to tell your friends, I wouldn't have a problem with that.
You can log in and add your name to the rafflecopter, but remember to like my facebook page as well. That's where I'll be pulling the winner from.
I'm over at Sweet'n'Sexy Divas and I'm talking about my new Frostbite Falls Christmas series and showing off the beautiful covers. Stop on by to get a glimpse of the whole series and enjoy the Christmas ambiance.
The last story (at least for now, no promises for the future) in the Frostbite Falls Christmas series is now available for preorder.
But last is definitely not least. Victoria might rip the heart out of anyone that even considered calling her the least.
Victoria plans everything in her life, down to the tiniest detail. Her cousin's makeover, her friends nights, the Frostbite Falls Christmas ball. And most importantly, her seduction of Trevor and Sam Sullivan. And they have no idea just exactly what is coming their way.
I hope you'll stop by and check out this fantastic new addition to the Frostbite Falls Christmas series, and see exactly how sexy a little determination and a little scheming can be.
Hot Toddy is now available for download. This story is special to me(though I'll admit all the stories in Frostibite Fall series are special to me) but Lydia's stories was the first story that I thought of in the series.
The moment in the beginning, of her putting an ornament on the tree was the first scene I envisioned in the whole series. At that time there were no other characters but the Manning brothers and Jason (unfortunately he was there from the very beginning), so there was no reason for the previous scenes. The picture was so crystal clear and compelling I just had to find out more. But even then I had no idea where that idea would lead me to, and how much it would create.
That image sparked in my head last Christmas, and it might just be one of the best Christmas presents I ever received. It set me on a course that brought me to this place, to releasing these works and enjoying this success. And I couldn't be more thankful.
Another girl joins the party. Today the third book in the Frostbite Falls Christmas series is available for preorder. This book revolves around Riley Willis, Victoria's cousin and the only girl in the group not looking forward to the ball.
Riley would much rather be on her ranch hanging out with her best friends, then spending time at the ball. But at least she has her best friends to keep her company (hint hint).
I hope you'll stop over, pick up your copy and come join us in Frosbite Falls this Christmas. Its sure to be a sexy fun time.
