There's still a few days to help me donate to breast cancer. Today the final saga in the Naughty Holiday List series is released. Dirty Work, follows the story of Giselle, the most high maintenance of the five girls, and Garrett her flame from the past, as they rediscover their love together. It also includes a lot of moments with the other Holiday List girls, including a fake penis filled bachelorette party with all my heroines, a bachelor party where all my heroes hang out for the first time and commiserate about their ladies (I have to admit this might have been one of my favorite scenes to write, it was so much fun writing their reactions to each other, especially Lincoln and Gabe), and one glorious wedding. It a bittersweet release for me. I’m happy to see Giselle find her place in the world, and her Mr. Right, but it’s hard to say good bye to the series that literally started my publishing career and these women, and men, who have been a part of my life for the last three years. It’s a capper to an already bittersweet year. This year has included some rather highs and lows for my family. I believe I’ve spoken quite a bit about my brother’s wedding this year. I definitely know that my friends are sick of hearing about it. It was a great day, and tons of fun for our family. But we’ve also experienced some very hard news this year too. In early 2013 my aunt was diagnosed with stage four breast cancer at only fifty years old. She’s had a rough go of it and as put up quite a fight. So far she seems to be doing pretty well, but she’s not out of the woods yet. Her diagnoses has caused me to reevaluate some of my decisions and the actions my life has taken. I’m started to change my diet, to remove as much of the bad stuff as I can and starting eating much cleaner and healthier. I’ve made a real effort to lose weight, since that’s a huge risk factor (but having to fit into a bridesmaids dress and have a hundred pictures taken of me also helped). It’s also caused me to come to some realizations, about what I want my future to be and how I plan to make that happen. I’ve refocused myself on my writing goals for the future, and I’m working on some personal goals as well. But more than anything I’ve realized just how fortunate I am. So instead of throwing a contest or doing a long blog hop to celebrate the release of Dirty Work, I’m going to give something back. And since October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, it’s seemed a fitting time to give back for someone I care for. Between today and October 31st for every comment I get on this blog I’ll donate $1 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, which helps provide mammograms to women in need. Let me know what your favorite book is, how cancer has affected your life, or just say hi. Leave a comment for anything at all and I’ll make a donation to this great cause. If you want to find out more information about how you can help provide mammograms to those in need, or find out more about preventing and diagnosing breast cancer you can go to https://www.nationalbreastcancer.org/ I'm over at Tina Donahue's blog talking about making every day a sexy day. Stop on by and see my tips for making any day a sexy day.

I'll make a donation of $1 for every comment placed between 10/24 and 10/31. Dirty Work is now available for Pre-order. Pick up the book that answers all the questions you've been wondering since book one. What did Giselle write on her list? Whose getting married (reading Birthday List might give you a clue)? Where does Giselle like to get busy? And is there such a thing as two many plastic penises? The answer to all those questions and more, will be answered in Dirty Work. Get your copy today! http://www.bookstrand.com/dirty-work The Jeep Diva has reviewed Working For Him. This definitely put a smile on my face when I read it. Thank you so much for reading my story Gaele.
Here's a little snippet from the review... There was a clever explanation of limits and emotional interplay in this story; Willa Edwards manages to show the delicate balance of strength and power that exists in a sub-space, while contrasting that with the everyday insecurities that every woman is subject to, and the often well-meaning “but she knows THAT” already attitude of men that often has them making room for yet another foot in their mouth. The sex is all detailed from Serena’s point of view: it is her reactions and emotions that are more prevalent and incredibly well detailed with plenty of steam and detail. This is a clever combination of sexual needs, action and emotion all coming to present a story that will please many.
