Reviews are life blood to an author. Not only do they factor into rankings on sites like Amazon and Barnes and Noble, but they also keep us going. They keep us writing and improving. Even the not so nice ones can empower us to do better (sometimes just to spite the reviewer, I won't lie). But my books are a little lacking on reviews, so I'm running a contest to encourage some of those life blood enriching reviews out of the wood work.

Starting now through...whenever the reviews stop coming in...for every review you give, you can be entered to win a $25 gift certificate to amazon.com.

Here's how it works-
If you have read one of my books, go to any book reviewing site of your choice (bn.com, amazon.com, bookstrand.com, bookbub.com, goodreads.com, and any others you can think of) and write an honest review. (I'm only asking for honest reviews. If you didn't like a book that's fine. Let me know. That's the best way for me to improve. You never know, the reason you didn't like the book might be the reason another reader would love it.)

The review must include a written review, but it can be as simple as 'liked the book', 'too much sex', 'flat characters', etc...Send me link to the review with your user name and you'll be entered to win the gift certificate. Simple as that. You can post the same review on as many sites as you'd like, each link will count as its own separate entry. Once I receive 25 links, I'll pull one winner from the list to receive the gift certificate. Once a link has been won it will be removed from eligibility but all the other links will remain eligible until the end of the contest. If the link is a verified purchase, I'll include something a little extra with the delivery.

Never read one of my books before, but you want to participate? You still can. I currently have two books available for free. Read one of those, review it and you can enter to win.

How do you send me the link-
There are multiple ways you can send the link to me. You can email me at willa dot c dot Edwards at gmail dot com. You send me a message through the contact me link on my website. You can post your link to the facebook message on my page about this contest. Or you can comment on this blog post (only comments with email addresses included will be counted. I need to have a way to contact you for you to win).

Comment or email me with any questions. Happy reviewing!

Owned Forever - First Review

The first review is in for Owned Forever and I'm smiling from ear to ear. Evampire from The Romances Reviews gives the story four stars, and has a bunch of wonderful things to say about this latest installment in Kate, Daniel and Grant's story.

http://erotic.theromancereviews.com/viewbooksreview.php?bookid=18048

Kate tries to be everything for everyone but the pressure builds, and she snaps and the secret is out of the bag in this emotionally gripping ménage romance.

Things between Kate and her two men have been blissful but all that changes when the pressure of the wedding builds, and the reader can't help but get drawn into the emotional turbulence that flows from the pages and threatens Kate's happily ever after with Grant and Daniel. The chemistry is explosive and the sex scenes are scorching including BDSM scenes, but the relationship is on rocky ground due to the volatile emotions and insecurities that come from trying to make a threesome work. These strong compelling characters capture the heart while they strive to overcome the obstacles including Kate's parents. The fast paced, smooth flowing plot builds expectations with suspense, turmoil and passion while the well written scenes and details bring the characters to life and ensure that the reader wants to know their entire story.

This heart gripping tale brings tears to the eyes during a couple of scenes but really shows how things could be tricky trying to handle a ménage lifestyle and ensure that everyone is happy. The story could be read as a standalone but I must say that the story would be more enjoyable if read in sequence for better understanding of the characters.

Another Review for Owned for Christmas

Reviewers are loving Owned for Christmas, which as I'm revising the sequel, couldn't make me happier. Here's another great review for Owned for Christmas by Tash M with Confessions from Romaholics, giving it four couples.

http://www.confessionsfromromaholics.com/review-owned-christmas-willa-edwards/

Owned for Christmas is a fun Christmas ménage, that offers a fantasy turned into reality. What if you were to date a man, fallen in love and only for him to disappear from your life. Leaving you pick up the broken pieces. Pieces that were picked up by another man who healed your heart to a point but you still think about the first man. What if your boyfriend invited you to his home for Christmas and you discover that the man who broke your heart, is his brother and you had no clue….

The author explores this scenario with a sweet Christmas ménage about second chances and healing. Kate is a former sub who has pushed her needs aside to be dominated for love and acceptance with Daniel. Daniel values her as a person and treats her well and she loves him for it. However she miss Grant her former Dom who gave her what she craves, domination.

So what if Santa Claus decides to give her a gift that she secretly craves. Grant but she isn’t sure if she wants him back. She might crave to submit to him but she an independent woman who knows what she wants and despite her connection with Daniel, she is missing something that only Grant can give.

I loved the concept of this story and I loved how the brothers where night and day but both wanted the same thing. I love how Grant took charge and If I was going to chose a brother that I love more than in this story , it would have to be him. Daniel was surprising naive despite being the country boy turned city boy. He seemed shelter about certain things and it was interesting to see the dynamics between the brothers. I almost wanted to question his naiveté at some points as he was willing to be more accepting over certain things than others. But then he is straight laced compared to his brother.

A perfect little Christmas story for those who are looking for something steamier to spicy up the their holidays. Two men , one woman, Grant the Dom who wants her back for forever, Daniel the clueless man who thinks that Kate is happy as they are and Kate torn between two men. I loved how Kate was thrown into the deep end and had to question what she wanted. Grant thought he had made things right when he left but didn’t know what do to fix things that he thought was perfect . I love a second chance romance and this book is perfectly time with Christmas only just around the corner

Another review for Owned for Christmas

I'm blown away. I received another review of Owned for Christmas, this one from Crystal Blogs Books. I'm so touched by what she says about my characters. I'm so glad to see she liked Grant and Daniel and their connection.

Here's what Crystal Blogs Books had to say...

Now this is how love triangles should end. Why does only one guy get the girl? Maybe the girl wants both... After all, it can be more fun that way... That's how I would describe Willa Edwards's Owned for Christmas. It was just plain fun to read. I liked the characters and how they balanced each other. Kate was a mix of sugar and spice. She truly loved the sweet natured Daniel, but also craved the spiciness that only Grant could provide. Daniel loved Kate enough to know that something was missing in their relationship. He knew that she was still recovering from a broken heart, but Daniel could never imagine that it was his own brother that broke it. As for Grant, he also loved Kate, but it took him letting her go to realize it. Now this is where things get really interesting...

At first glance, Owned for Christmas sounded like the typical Christmas romance. Boy loves girl. Boy brings girl home to meet family. Girl finds out that the boy who stole her heart is her new guy's brother. Girl hates seeing brothers fight and decides that is is better for everyone if she left. That is whereOwned for Christmas moves into its own type of Christmas romance. I had so much fun reading this book. I know that Christmas is over, but if you are still in the holiday mood (or just want to read a ménage romance), give this one a shot. The best thing is... The guys get the girl and they still fight for her.

Another review for Owned for Christmas

I received another fantastic review of Owned for Christmas. This one comes from Storm Vixen of The Jeep Diva. She gives the story four stars and five flames (for its extra spicy nature, yummy!).

Here's a little snippet of that review to give you a taste of what they had to say. Thank you so much The Jeep Diva and Stormy Vixen. I truly appreciate your kind words.

...With a fast pace and smooth flowing plot, this romance holds readers captive with lots of anticipation and romance. Kate captures the heart with her emotional turmoil over the past and believing that she will never be whole and the reader can’t help but get caught up in her story as she discovers that she just might be able to have everything her heart desires for Christmas. Grant and Daniel add lots of suspense to the story as they fight over Kate, Grant as the Dom who let her go and Daniel as the sweet gentle lover who picked up the shattered pieces.

The story is full of emotional upheaval that grabs the reader’s attention from the very beginning and the well written scenes and details bring the story to life ensuring that the reader wants to know everything about these strong compelling characters. Plenty of passion and hot and steamy sex scenes including anal sex, spanking and m/f/m scenes adds lots of spice to this holiday happy ever after and I have to say that after reading this one, I added to hot and sexy cowboys to my Santa wish list.

New Review for Owned for Christmas

12/7/2014

Owned for Christmas received another 4 paddles review. And it received 3 sting level, for kink content. Got to love that. Here's a few quotes from the review.
This is emotional turmoil done right. I could feel the way Kate was tempted in both directions and her despair at having to choose between her needs and her heart. There was a lot to like about this story, but I want to address some things that were a problem for me...

...What’s right about this book is the careful handling of the D/s relationship. The understanding that Daniel is a vanilla guy and that Grant is a Dominant that met different needs in Kate was well done. I liked the way the story put me in Kate’s dilemma without giving her an easy out.  The choice does seem cut and dried. Does she choose the sexual satisfaction of her submissive nature?  Or does she deny it for the awesome trade off of intense, beautiful love? I was worried halfway into the story that there would be a simple solution. But there isn’t and the story doesn’t give one. The resolution is as complicated as it needs to be. The relationship between the three of them seems to fit together and both men fill a different need in a very hot, very sexy way.
Read the whole review here, along with tons of other reviews of fantastic BDSM stories.

Another great review!

Another great review for Owned for Christmas. This one is from Multitasking Momma's Ramona. She gives Owned for Christmas 4.5 stars.

http://www.multitaskingmommas.com/2014/11/earc-review-owned-for-christmas-by.html?zx=9bf5ded141a91a0d

Here's what Ramona has to say...
What is YOUR grown-up Christmas wish? Willa Edwards has come up with a very interesting adult one in Owned for Christmas. Kate wants her man, her Dom, but which one does she pick?

Kate is a sheltered woman, although she admits she can only find her true self as a submissive. And only with one Master - Grant. But Grant disappeared, leaving only a note, and Kate's niggling thoughts on whether she was a good enough sub or not. His desertion almost destroyed her and if not for Daniel, she would probably have taken years to recover.

Daniel is gentle, sweet, and kind; and most definitely not a Dom. He nurses Kate back to normal with his infinite patience and care, all the while assuring her that there's no one else for him. Finally she gets the courage to leave the city and travel with him to the family ranch for Christmas. It's a perfect holiday, right?

Maybe not. She's pleasantly surprised by the cozy ranch house, his sweet mom, and homey traditions, nothing of which she had growing up. The shocker comes in the form of Daniel's brother, no other than Grant himself. Suddenly all Daniel's hard work on her recovery seems to be all for nothing.

Grant is still attracted to Kate and had his own reasons for leaving the way he did. Seeing her with his pesky younger brother may be even more than he can take, with the loss of his famous iron control the first victim of his guilt.

Exactly how much does one love the other? What would they be willing to give up to have that love?

This may be a quick novel to read, but it's definitely heavy on the erotic romance. It explores a dark fantasy of many woman in a loving, romantic, thrilling way. Kate does get it all, plus even more than she imagined. Who wouldn't want the complete and perfect man? Or men?

Owned for Christmas would definitely make anybody's holidays red hot. Willa Edwards, what a way to celebrate!

Joyfully Reviewed

Got an awesome review from Jo at Joyfully Reviewed for Midnight Mirage. Here's a little snippet...

I was touched at how they [Lincoln and Gabe] took the time to learn just who Mallory was and to help her. I could understand Mallory’s hesitation in believing that Lincoln and Gabe really did want her over all of the women they could have. When the morning came, I wondered if the three of them being together really was in the cards. Seeing the all three of them work out just what they wanted and how it would be had me hoping that this was just the first day of a wonderful lifetime for them. Midnight Mirage takes an erotic night of passion and turns it into a lifetime of loving in the harsh world of rock and roll.

I'm so glad she enjoyed it. Thank you so much Jo and Joyfully. You just made a writer's week!!
