I'm over at Sweet'n'Sexy Divas today talking about all the special events I have going on this month. Stop by to get the 411 on everything that I've got cooking for March.
Golden Forever is now available for download. This story holds a different place in my heart than the others in the series because it was the first story that I wrote for this series. I'm sure all these posts give readers an idea of how cluttered my mind is. That this story isn't the first one that I thought of yet it was somehow the first one I wrote shows just how all over the place I can be. I wish I could explain it, but I can't. And believe me I've tried. Even more ironic, this was the last book to receive a title. I know, its nuts. But what can you do.
In a lot of ways Riley was the easiest character to identify with in the series. She was the only one that found the ball to be a drag, that didn't want to dress up in fancy clothes or wear heels, which I can certainly identify with. Especially around the holidays, when I first starting writing the books, the time of year when you have to do a lot you might not want to, for the holiday season or the family.
But probably the reason why this book was the first one written had nothing to do with Riley at all, but it was because of her guys. Of all the guys in the series, their motivation and devotion to Riley was easiest to understand. They loved Riley before the first word was written on the first page. They'd always loved Riley. She was the love of their lives since they were seven years old, they just didn't know it yet. Their friendship, their devotion to each other is so crystal clear I couldn't turn away from it. No matter which of the other ladies were talking to me. Those guys forced me to stay focused on them, to keep telling their story, demanding I give Riley the happily ever after she deserved. Which only made me love them more.
Hot Toddy is now available for download. This story is special to me(though I'll admit all the stories in Frostibite Fall series are special to me) but Lydia's stories was the first story that I thought of in the series.
The moment in the beginning, of her putting an ornament on the tree was the first scene I envisioned in the whole series. At that time there were no other characters but the Manning brothers and Jason (unfortunately he was there from the very beginning), so there was no reason for the previous scenes. The picture was so crystal clear and compelling I just had to find out more. But even then I had no idea where that idea would lead me to, and how much it would create.
That image sparked in my head last Christmas, and it might just be one of the best Christmas presents I ever received. It set me on a course that brought me to this place, to releasing these works and enjoying this success. And I couldn't be more thankful.
Its official. Sweet Snowfall is available for preorder.
The first in my new Frostbite Falls Christmas series, this book revolves around Grace, the curvy librarian of Frostbite Falls. And her two dashing but dangerous--at least they are perceived that way--heroes, Cassidy and Nash.
Though I love all my ladies, of all the Frostbite Falls heroines, Grace is definitely the one I relate to the most. Its probably that curvy bookishness. I'm so excited to see her book come to life.
I hope you'll check out her book. Its definitely hot and sexy, but with enough heart to make you want to cuddle all three of the people in a big hug.
Happy Dancing around the room. Erotic Espionage is now available. You can pick up your copy at Bookstrand.com.
I've been working on this book off and on and its nice to finally see it out in the world. Hopefully you will all enjoy rejoining McKenna, Chris and Sawyer again just as much as I did.
And stay tuned. I will be working on the next and last story in McKenna, Chris and Sawyer's trilogy, which should prove to be just as hot and naughty as the last two. With a little revenge thrown in for good measure.
Today my newest short story, The Governor's Special Aide, is now available for sale. This little story, about a governor with a need to discipline and Patty, his very submissive aide, definitely will set your hair on fire.
The idea came to me one morning late in the election. I was so sick of all the negativity, all the angry fighting and the division. Then suddenly one morning, I thought of the best way to bring people together. A little naughty BDSM fun of course. Hey, it worked once before with Fifty Shades of Grey, why can't it work again?
But oddly, when Patty came to me, she only spoke to me in first person. I've never written a story in first person before. I'd never thought I'd like write a story that way, but I really did. Or at least, I did when I was writing Patty. She's so much fun, and so determined to get what she wants, it was nice living in her head for a little while.
As with all my stories featuring political figures, no political parties, policies or opinions are expressed by the characters. They're way too busy getting busy to spend much time talking about politics (wink wink!)
So if you're like me, and you're looking for an upside to all the crazy politics out there, I hope you'll pick up a copy today. Hopefully you'll enjoy reading it almost as much as I enjoy writing.
I'm jumping up and down, Sensual Sabotage is now available for download. I couldn't be more excited.
As many of you might have noticed, I've been having a bit of a writing slump. This has occurred for a few reasons, changes in the industry and some changes in my own personal life that have been keeping me down. But as much as some of these changes have been hard to deal with, I've been trying to take my time to write better works, with more detailed and in depth characters. And I think it really shows in this work.
In my opinion, McKenna is one of the most fascinating characters I've written, layered and difficult and so vulnerable in places it almost makes me hurt.
But don't you worry, Sawyer and Chris will be getting their time in the sun too. I'm currently in the process of writing two more books in this series (so anyone who wants to know what happens after book one, just stay tuned, its on the way) and in those books I'll definitely be delving more into Sawyer and Chris's background, which is only hinted at in the first book.
Until then, I hope you'll pick up a copy of Sensual Sabotage today. If you enjoy reading it half as much as I enjoyed writing it, you're in for an amazing good time.
I'm over at Sweet'n'Sexy Divas today talking about my newest release, and giving everyone a little sneak peak of the fantastic characters that take up this world (if I do say so myself). Stop on by. Read a new excerpt and join me in my excitement of this fantastic new release.
I'm nearly jumping up and down. Sensual Sabotage is available for preorder. Its a little earlier than I was expecting, but in no way is that a bad thing. I hope you'll head on over and take a look. Right now the book is on a 10% discount, but that price won't last forever. So you definitely want to get this book, sooner, rather than later.
I have to say, this is one of my favorite books that I have written. I really have come to love McKenna and her feisty attitude and soft vulnerability so much. And Chris and Sawyer, yummy.
If you like a stand up for herself heroine, two heroes with nerdy brains, bulging biceps and hearts of gold, this is definitely the story for you. And of course, as there often is in many of my books, the prominent use of some handcuffs. Sigh.
I got it in my email today. One of the highlights of my publishing a book, at least for me. A brand new cover. And its a really sexy one too.
Here it is. Isn't it beautiful? I this one is definitely gorgeous and very hot. I love how they incorporated the characters in the foreground. Especially those handcuffs (they play a very prominent role in the story, wink wink).
The story will be released on April 13th and I can't hardly wait. Only twenty days to go!!
