Its official, the contract is signed and everything. Second Chance at a Cheerleader will be releasing soon from Siren Publishing. Right now they have it set to release on January 8th, but the date might change according to editing and availability. I'll let you guys know if that happens.

This is the second story in my Snowedin Fantasies series, and shows a lot more of Snowedin, VT. The town is based on where I grew up in Vermont and its so fun to me to be able to go back home, in writing at least, and explore the world from an adult perspective. 

I'm so excited to see this book finding a home. I've been working on it on and off for some time, so its great to finally see it completed and moving towards all the fantastic readers out there. Its also been a while since I've had a Siren release, since I've been working a lot with Totally Bound over the last year, and its great to come back to the family.

Here's a little taste of what it's about:

In high school, Lanie Brookes had the life everyone dreamed of. She was head cheerleader, dating the captain of the hockey team. But since staying in Snowedin to take care of her mother, her life has gone downhill.

When she receives a mysterious subscription to Fantasies Fulfilled, she decides to make the most of it, picking two men for the price of one. But she never guessed she’d selected the two men she's dreamed of since graduation night, Matt and Dan. But will they still be interested in her now? Or will the fantasy go up in smoke when they realize who she's become?

It's now official. Owned for Christmas is under contract with Totally Bound Publishing. It will be available for preorder on November 14th with a digital release of November 28th, perfect for your black friday shopping.

I'm so excited this story has found a home. After my Naughty Holiday List series I thought it would be quite some time before I wrote about a holiday again, but my characters always have a way of proving a liar of me. Kate, Grant and Daniel came to me almost out of nowhere (after reading a submission call, a recurring instance for me, see blog post below), and refused to let me ignore them.

This story explores themes I haven't delved into before, including a menage with two brothers (don't worry, there is no touching between them) and the dissolution of a BDSM relationship and the way that break in trust affects those involved. Plus there's some good kink cowboy tricks thrown in for fun.

I know it’s late but I wanted to let you all know how my December close out plan ended. Unfortunately I didn’t get as much done as I would have liked. Due to a few factors, including family commitments, a funk and the flu. You know, the three Fs. J

I did manager to fix up and submit a short story, Jack the Bodice Ripper. I spent some of my December time, that I had set aside of new works, editing that story and working with the publisher to get it ready for release in less than a month. A feat impossible with most publishers, which is one of the reasons I love Romance Divine. I announced the release a few weeks ago on this blog, though it was in the middle of my flu ridden haze, so I wasn’t capable of much more. It was definitely time well spent, though it cut into my other plans.

I also revised Valentine Next Door and submitted it to Totally Bound. They accepted it this week. I don’t know yet when it will be released, I’ll let you all know as soon as I have more information, but I’m happy dancing all over the place about this one. I can’t wait to see how people react to Miranda and Jeremy. I know I love them, and I hope other people will too.

I’ve also been working hard to finish Second Chance at a Cheerleader. I’ve added another 5,000 words, putting me well above my original goal for the story. And I still have another 10,000 words or so to finish the book. And the last bit is usually the hardest for me to write. I’m hoping to finish the first draft this month. I have so many great Snowedin Stories I want to tell, but I need to complete this one to move on to the others. Not to mention any of the other stories I running around in my head.

As for New Year resolutions. Unlike some previous years, I’m not going to set any goals for myself as far as numbers. I have way too much going on this year and I don’t know yet what I’ll be capable of handling. But I do want to focus on writing as well as I can and finishing as many works as possible in my limited time. I need to get as many of the characters running through my head down on paper as I can. Not to mention bring more reading material for all you fantastic readers.

Other than that, I just want to keep moving forward. I have a lot to accomplish in 2014 personally, and I want to get better at just taking everything one moment at a time, one task at a time, and one red hot romance at a time.

Now that the contract has been signed and submitted I can officially announce that Working For Him was accepted. It will be appearing in Total-e-Bound’s anthology Tied to the Billionaire. It will be available for preorder on July 5th and released for sale two weeks later. It will appear along with five other stories, from five other amazing authors, including Sam Cresant, who I have known and loved for years, and Lisabet Sarai, who encouraged me to submit to Total-e-Bound.

Though this is not my first BDSM story, this is the first to have published that really deals with a BDSM lifestyle couple. While Naughty List dealt with some BDSM themes, it was really more in the line of what an average couple might do in the bedroom. I really enjoyed writing some of the more intense moments and intimate loving moments that goes along with a more devoted BDSM couple, and I will definitely be writing more. 

I’m also putting the finishing touches on Dirty Work, the last in the Naughty
Holiday List Series, and I’m hoping to have it submitted soon. Though it is a
little sad to end this series, I have plenty more stories screaming for attention to keep me company once these ladies are all done, including stories in the two other series I currently have going on.
