Midnight Mirage Reviews
Great Review from Joyfully Reviewed - Reviewed by Jo
Mallory Macgregor is a reporter working with some of the hottest rock stars for interviews all their fans want to see. While Mallory has only been doing this a little over a year, it seems that many doors have opened up for her and many of the top artists have agreed to meet and be interviewed by her. One of her favorite bands, Mirage, is why she is working this New Year’s Eve – to complete an interview with them.
Lincoln and Gabe are best friends from grade school and it just so happens that they make great music together too. As the members of Mirage, the world is their oyster right now. However they only want one woman and have been slowly working toward that goal for a year now. Finally, tonight they plan on making their move and getting Mallory in their bed. Both Lincoln and Gabe already know they want more than one night with her – they want forever.
When a fan breaks up the interview and scares Mallory, she hurts her ankle. Lincoln and Gabe waste no time in having the fan taken out and getting to Mallory to see how hurt she is. Surprised to find herself in their bus, Mallory discovers that this is only the first of her surprises tonight. The lust she has felt for both Lincoln and Gabe is finally going to be fulfilled. Mallory can’t figure out why they want her, but she is more than willing to explore everything they are offering to her. The night is one erotic fantasy after another for the three of them. When morning comes, Mallory runs while trying to work it all through her head. Is the one night all fate is willing to give Mallory, Lincoln and Gabe or does fate have something much more special in store for them?
An erotic New Year’s Eve is the beginning of a rock and roll relationship to last a lifetime. Lincoln and Gabe show Mallory just what their life can be in Midnight Mirage. Taking an entire year to seduce the woman of your dreams is very unusual for anyone – much less rock stars and yet that is exactly what Lincoln and Gabe did. I was touched at how they took the time to learn just who Mallory was and to help her. I could understand Mallory’s hesitation in believing that Lincoln and Gabe really did want her over all of the women they could have. When the morning came, I wondered if the three of them being together really was in the cards. Seeing the all three of them work out just what they wanted and how it would be had me hoping that this was just the first day of a wonderful lifetime for them. Midnight Mirage takes an erotic night of passion and turns it into a lifetime of loving in the harsh world of rock and roll.

Three Stars from The Romance Reviews - reviewed by Book Grrl
Lincoln and Gabe are best friends and the duo that makes up the rock group, Mirage. Friends for years, they have discovered that they work well and play very well together.
They have decided that they want one thing: Mallory, a former music teacher and now writer for a music magazine. Mallory is no fool; she is very aware of both Lincoln and Gabe and would love for them to notice her. Unfortunately, she doesn't fit the mold of bold, buxom, statuesque beauty. Why would they ever want her?
Lincoln and Gabe decide that enough is enough. They have waited a full year to approach Mallory and this New Year's Eve is the night to tell her their feelings. When an avid fan threatens Mallory, the men intercede and claim their woman.
I think that Ms Edwards made the right move in that she created a background between the trio before the book really sets up. There isn't a lot of time to create a believable happily ever after without this background. I liked the story, overall, but Mallory's self-imposed negativity got annoying after a while. Midnight Mirage is a worthwhile read for an afternoon.

Mallory is about to get an up-close and personal exclusive from the two hottest rock stars.
Being rock stars has its perks and for Lincoln and Gabe, watching Mallory work was always one of them. Enjoying her from afar was also pure torture. Lincoln and Gabe knew there was something more to her that appealed to them on a primal level and for that reason took their time before approaching her with their plan of seduction. Fear of her rejection has held them off, but the time has come to finally to seduce and claim her.
It's New Year's Eve and as the clock strikes midnight, Mallory finds herself in a most precarious position with Lincoln and Gabe. Give in to her secret desire and take what they have to offer or walk away and continue her lonely existence. What starts out as work quickly turns into a more intimate interview, where Lincoln and Gabe ask the questions.
Unfortunately, the story lacked the suspense in the plot that is eluded to in the synopsis. I also found some moments of the drawn-out erotic encounter to be a bit confusing with the positioning of the bodies not easily visualized. However, I enjoyed Lincoln's dominant personality and Gabe's more playful one. They both seem to fit perfectly into Mallory's world and she in theirs, so the relationship dynamics are believable. I would definitely recommend this story to an erotic romance fan looking for something hot and spicy with a couple of rock stars.
