As the illegitimate daughter of one of New York City's most elite families, Sammi Pulaski learned not to trust rich men--or really any men--especially those carrying flowers, at a very early age. Dancing with the Tamales was the perfect place for her. She gets to dance every night before a roaring crowd and has a vast pool of men that are interested in a quick night of fun...and nothing more. That is, until she meets Officer Moore.
Every guy in the presicent thought Officer Robert Moore and his partner Officer Brian Collins had got the best job in the presenct. Discovering the criminal that set fire to the Habenero theater, home of the Hot Tamales. But their kind of burlesque dancing was never Robbie's thing. He always thought the type of women who danced like this, showed off their bodies, were had heads more full of hairspray and glitter than brains. That is, until he met Sammi.
But Sammi's only looking for one thing, and no matter what he might like, Robbie knows he's a lifetime kind of guy. Can he convince Sammi to take a shot on forever, or with a madman with an obsession take their happily ever after away before Robbie can even convince her that's what she wants?
