Birthday List Frequently Ask Questions
Q: What made you want to write this story?
A: I wrote the story of Callie and Eric so quickly I didn't get to enjoy them as characters as much as the rest of the naughty holiday lists group. So I always knew I wanted to go back and see them again (and the fifth book, Giselle's story, will feature them a lot as well). Plus I wanted to give Eric his own turn. So I thought, why not let Eric make his own lis and have Callie give it to him.
Q: Where did you come up with the foods for Callie's birthday surprise?
A: When I decided I wanted to do something different with the foods Callie would use I asked a few guys what their favorite foods were. Everything they came up with reminded me of the foods we eat at superbowl time, so I made put out a question to all the ladies, what did they make for superbowl sunday and they came back with a some great answers. I whittled them down (as much as I would have loved to use buffalo wings, but ouch, that could really sting, especially if that hot sauce got into the wrong place), this is the list I came up with.
